• Oliva also boasts a natural fresh-water spring, El Clotal, ideal for swimming and fishing. The El Clotal runs onto Terranova Beach, Oliva's most beautiful northerly beach. • Oliva-Pego Marjal is Olivas Nature reserve. It is an extensive wetland area flooded seasonally and a great attraction for fans of birdwatching, flora and fauna, hiking, and cyling.

• From the Marjal you can continue to the Font Salada, a natural spring of thermal water ideal for taking a dip, with medicinal properties benificial for skin conditions. Restaurante Font Salada is a popular restaurant close to the thermal springs offering, 'Valencian cuisine with natural ingredients.'

#2 Oliva Fiestas! Oliva is a town that loves to party and you are invited to enjoy the many and varied annual fiestas during your stay at Oliva House. The most 'spectacular!' and 'amazing!' fiestas are Fallas in March, Easter, and Moors and Christians in July. #3 Oliva Friday Market is perfect for quality, great value, fresh, local produce and wares. Take your shopping basket early morning until early afternoon to the Paseo every Friday except fiesta days. For delicious olives, meats, eggs, vegetables, paella pans, espadrilles, lace tablecloths baskets, all and more at this infamous weekly event.


#4 Hiking and Biking in and around Oliva grows more popular by the season. A useful, clear map of suggested half day (2-7km) scenic cycling and walking routes is available from the Tourist Information office. Ask for 'Routes around Oliva'.

#5 Oliva Menu Del Dia / Menu of the day is served at most resturants at lunchtimes. These three course, set priced meals are excellent value and quality. Choose a starter, main, dessert and sometimes finish with a coffee. Expect to pay between €6 and €9.
Hola Oliva recommends Rte. Rumar at Oliva Pi Pau Beach for Menu del Dia and Menu del Noche for a great location, quality, value meal with freindly service.


#6 Oliva Old Town Tours are an interesting activity. A perfect stroll on a warm evening. The tourist information has put together two suggested set routes of 'El Ravel' and 'La Vila'. Both self guided walks start and finish at Plaza Alonso, a few minutes walk away from Oliva House. No map? no problem. Simply follow the helpful green signs.

• Oliva Nova Golf Designed and built by Seve Ballesteros. A par 72 links course of 6,350 m with a slope of 120, the main characteristic of which is that 15 of its 18 holes include water obstacles.This is a technical course over gently undulating ground.
